If the Apple Watch has become an indispensable part of your life, but the desire to wear a proper mechanical watch still arises every now and again, German outfit Sinn has a solution. Called the Sinn Dual Strap System, it’s a four-piece strap that lets you wear both a proper mechanical watch and an Apple Watch at the exact same time. Really.
That’s right, this strap lets you wear a watch on top of your wrist while wearing another watch on the underside. That way, you can style with the classic aesthetics of an analog timepiece while enjoying the notifications, fitness tracking, and whatever other benefits you draw out of Apple’s smartwatch.
The Sinn Dual Strap System consists of four shorter-than-usual straps, two of which can be attached to any watch case with a 22mm lug width, while the other two go on your Apple Watch (both sizes are accommodated). Each pair of straps come with its own buckle, which is designed to attach to a hole on the other pair of straps, essentially combining the two sets together to create the resulting dual-headed watch monstrosity. The idea, of course, is to wear the analog watch on top and the Apple Watch under the wrist, although you can always reverse them for those times you need the smartwatch front and center.
Not in the mood to wear two watches? Not a problem, it comes with a connecting strap that lets you wear just one watch, so there’s no need to swap in a new strap just for that.
Available now, the Sinn Dual Strap System is priced at $210.
