Moneual 701 Jewelry: A Multimedia PC Clad In Gold, Brass And Swarovski Jewels

The cylindrical Moneual 701 is expensive enough as it is, but its bejeweled brethren, the Moneual 701 Jewelry puts whatever price tag it comes in to shame.  Feeling oblivious to news of recession and worldwide economic setbacks, the company showed off the gold and brass-clad machine during a recent event.

It comes with the same high-end A/V specs that the original 701 has been selling in, including an Intel Core2 Duo, ATI Radeon HD 4000 graphics, 2GB DDR3 RAM and a 500GB hard drive.   Enjoy movies right on the machine with its onboard dual 3W speakers and amp, DVD-R and a 7-inch touchscreen LCD with 800 x 480 resolution.    Top-of-the-line HD media playback is supported via an 8.264 codec, with 1080p output available through an HDMI connection.  Complete suite of connectivity options include 5.1-channel audio, RJ45 and two USB ports.

The whole rig weighs a hefty 35kg,  no doubt assisted by the 3,554 Swarovski Signature jewels, along with a suite of gold and brass panels.  Regular 701 machines ship with Windows Vista and a full-featured remote, so it should be safe to assume that the Moneual 701 Jewelry offers the same thing as well.  While the remote wasn’t anywhere in sight, it probably got its own luxury treatment too.

Indulgent Korean homeowners can get the Moneual 701 Jewelry for around $30,000.
