Need a place to mount two bicycles but can’t punch holes on your rented apartment’s walls? Protect your lease deposit with the Michelangelo Two Bike Gravity Stand, a dual-bike wall rack that requires no permanent installation.
A wall rack with no drilling and no screws necessary? That’s right. Instead, all you have to do is lean it against the wall and it can take care of keeping balance all on its own. Even better, the 84-inch high creation can mount up to two bikes at a time, one of top of the other, facilitating clever use of your available space.
The Michelangelo Two Bike Gravity Stand looks painfully simple – just a single piece of tube bent into a stand with two legs and a wall stabilizer. Minimally stylish in function as well as looks, it features a silver powder-coat finish and red mounting arms. All the arms are independently adjustable, allowing you to customize them to fit most types and sizes of bicycles. It can only handle a maximum load of 80 lbs, though, so don’t even think about hoisting your 800cc motorcycle on one of the hooks. That can’t possibly work.
Arguably the easiest bike mount to install, we can’t imagine any downside to this thing. Other than the fact that you’ll be out $70, this is as awesome as I’ve ever thought a bike rack could get.
