Tired of the same old accommodations when you hit the waters down at Costa Verde? For your next vacation, try booking with The Costa Verde Hotel’s 727 Fuselage Suite for a whole different experience – the kind you might enjoy when you can actually afford your own private jet and fill it with amenities just enough for a couple of lucky guests!
Fashioned out of a vintage 1965 Boeing 727 airframe, the suite sits 50 feet above the ground, almost like a plane on the early legs of take off. Situated like a treehouse atop a large pedestal, guests staying in the suite can reach it via winding stairs.
The 727 Fuselage Suite has been fully-outfitted and houses two air-conditioned bedrooms with private baths (one with two queen sized beds and the other with one queen sized bed), a flatscreen TV, a kitchen and a dining area. Interior has been reworked with tropical styling via meticulously-fitted Costa Rican teak panels and hand-carved Indonesian teak furnishings.
A spanning view of the Costa Verde ocean shore can be enjoyed from the balcony that sits on the aircraft’s sawed-off wings, all while surrounded by forests of trees and various growths. According to the hotel’s promotional page, you’ll likely even be treated to personal encounters with tree-top dwellers like sloths, toucans and monkeys.
Rates for The Costa Verde Hotel’s 727 Fuselage Suite is $350 per night up to April 30 and drops down to $300 from May to November.
