LEGO Speed Champions Ultimate Formula 1 Collector’s Pack Lets You Recreate the Full F1 Grid

As you’ve probably heard, LEGO forged a partnership with Formula 1 in preparation for a slew of new sets slated for next year. This week, they’ve finally outlined the first batch of releases, which include a Duplo set for younger builders and half a dozen City sets for your city dioramas. Our favorite, though, is easily the LEGO Speed Champions Ultimate Formula 1 Collectors Pack.

Designed to let you recreate the full F1 grid from the 2025 season, the set lets you build detailed models of every car participating in next year’s circuit. All 10 teams are onboard, allowing you to stage your own leg of the races straight from a tabletop in your home once you get tired of driving in your SIM racing cockpit. Whether you’re fan of McLaren, Oracle Red Bull, Ferrari, or any of the other teams, the thing set lets you pit it against all the other teams in the circuit.

The LEGO Speed Champions Ultimate Formula 1 Collector’s Pack puts together all 10 model cars included in LEGO’s Speed Champions F1 series, making this an absolute treat for racing fans of all stripes. Every car gets a full detailed recreation, reprising everything from the vehicle design and the color scheme to the sponsor logos and more. Since the sets are made for kids, they dropped all sponsor logos from alcohol brands, so it’s not quite a 1:1 recreation, but they did it close enough without getting parents up in arms.

All familiar elements of 2024 F1 cars are recreated, from the printed nose cone and front wing to the wishbone suspension and rear wing to the wider rear tires. Each car also reproduces the livery colors and sponsor stickers in detail, too, so you can know which team it represents immediately at first glance. All the vehicles get a cockpit that you can open by lifting the halo bar, allowing you to fit a standard minifigure in the seat, so you can have your favorite characters participating F1 races.

Each of the cars in the LEGO Speed Champions Ultimate Formula 1 Collector’s Pack seem to be mostly similar, differing only in branding elements, which should account for the different number of pieces for each set. All the models use roughly 250 pieces each, some a little more and some a little less, including a driver minifigure wearing a helmet with the corresponding team’s colors and logos. Do note, none of the minifigures actually recreate individual drivers, so you can’t quite have your own Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, or Lewis Hamilton minifig with this set. Maybe we’ll see them in future F1 LEGO sets, so stay tuned if you want specific drivers in your minifig collection.

If you’re a Formula 1 fan, chances are, you’re going to love spending the weekend (or longer) putting these things together. Only upside is, each one should assemble pretty similarly to the others, so the next cars should be easier once you finish assembling one. If you have kids, this is definitely something you can have fun putting together with them, especially since you can divvy up the sets and assemble them at the same time.

The LEGO Speed Champions Ultimate Formula 1 Collector’s Pack is now available for preorder.
