Another set from The LEGO Movie line, this one features the 1980s-something space guy, who’s actually supposed to be a 70s-era spaceman, and the spaceship, spaceship, SPACESHIP of his dreams. Aptly called Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!, it lets you build the exact same spacecraft that the wacky spaceman both engineered and piloted in the film.
Consisting of 939 pieces, the set contains Benny’s spaceship, along with a Robo Police interceptor and six minifigures. Like Benny, you’re the master builder in charge of putting together the set. Hopefully, the similarities end there — having a short attention span won’t exactly help you finish with the construction.
Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! features the space dude with the cracked skull’s movie spaceraft, complete with detachable flyers in the wings that let Benny wage mano a mano encounters with the Robo Police. Benny, of course, is here to pilot his ship, along with Wyldstyle and Astro Kitty on board. Emmet in a robot disguise (who, of course, still looks like Emmet), TBA Robot, and a Robo SWAT chasing after your crew are also included.
This, by the way, is the second largest set in The LEGO Movie line, right next to the massive Metalbeard’s Sea Cow. Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! is set for release in August, priced at $99.99.
