Have you ever worked in a hospital, Acute care, ICU, ER, and in a surgical suite? This doesn’t replace proper cleaning but enhances. Electricity costs are low compared to HAI costs. And really? Are we still worried about ebola?

I have been working in medical facilities for 30 years and have been watching this tech but the UV robots that are available now are cost prohibitive.

Is this so they don’t have to wipe down the plastic cover on the mattress top? Will these bacteria lights remove remnants of ebola virus left by previous patients? Do they prevent you from getting sick? Do they use less or more electricity than the way we would normally light up a room? Are these like grow lights? I’ve never heard of this technology, so I have a lot of questions. It just seems so weird – sanitizing with light!
