Love fanny packs, but can’t stand the bulge coming out of your waist? Salvation is here. The GrabIt Pack lets you put on a waist-mounted bag, all while allowing you the same freedom of movement you can enjoy without it.
Unlike regular fanny packs, the GrabIt Pack features a clever wraparound design that makes it feel more like a pants pocket than an extra accessory. It bends naturally with your thighs, instead of sticking out and bumping into everything in your vicinity.
It comes with three pockets of varying sizes – a front slot for cell phones (5 x 4 x 1 inch dimensions), a center pouch for larger items (9 x 5.5 x 1.5 inches) and another around the top (7.5 x 4 x 1.5 inches). To carefully hold your stuff, they come with a velcro fastener, velcro and buckle, and a zipper, respectively. Both ends of the bag grabs on to your thighs via a secure plastic buckle.
The GrabIt Pack should be particularly useful for those who want to carry plenty of tools, all while managing complete freedom of movement. Of course, it makes you look like a video game character with a utility pack around your waist (which is, at least, two style points better than a lame fanny pack), but the function should more than make up for the occasional insulting remarks (yes, it’s still pretty dorky).
Fashionable hipsters don’t get much in the way of options – only black is available for now. If the somber, anonymous color is fine with your sensibilities, you can score a GrabIt Pack now for $44.95.
