I wouldn’t purchase this since the creator of this item can’t be trusted to follow through. I supported this on Kickstarter and I have never received my rewards for my pledge. I’ve sent messages and emails, but never got a reply. They supposedly started shipping out rewards to backers in Jan. 2018, but as of yet, I haven’t received anything.

Disclaimer here: I love garlic. I put it in almost everything I cook and almost 2 to 3 times as much as what the recipe calls for. Of course I absolutely love the Garlic Shaker! Peeling garlic is tedious and when you’re in a hurry, it can be quite aggravating. You know what the best part about this device is other than being a huge time saver? Your fingers won’t smell like garlic for a couple of days anymore! All you have to do is put your garlic cloves inside, shake for half a minute and empty it out. The peels come right off and it doesn’t damage the cloves like a food storage container would. It’s top shelf dishwasher safe too. I can’t wait until the Garlic Shaker gets moved into production from kickstarter! I have already pledged an amount and signed up for emails to be updated when it is released.

This is a really cool kickstarter project! I wonder if these guys have thought about taking the garlic peeler to the shark tank. When I’m in the kitchen and going to use fresh garlic, I use the peeling process as a way to sit down and take a load off. I guess I wouldn’t have an excuse to be lazy if I had one of these in my kitchen.
