We don’t know how popular Dyson’s Air Multiplier has become. Considering the company has spun off the same design into an entire line of products, however, we’re inclined to guess it must be doing very well. The Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link is the inevitable merging of all the different products the line has grown into, combining a fan, a heater, and an air purifier into a single device.
That’s right, Dyson took three of their existing products in the same form factor and crammed it into one. As such, you no longer need to have three of their oddly-shaped devices in a room, as you can trade them all for just a single one of this thing.
The Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link retains the same “Jet Focus” technology that the outfit developed for pushing out a stream of targeted air without using fan blades, with the option for that air to either be cool like a fan or warm like a heater. Purification is handled using a HEPA filter that cleans the air as it’s processed, removing up to 99.97 percent of particulates and impurities (even bad smell) before expelling out.
It also comes with an app that allows you to control the fan remotely, schedule timed use, and even monitor your home’s air quality. The same app will also send you a reminder when you need to clean the filter.
As with all things Dyson, the Pure Hot+Cool Multiplier won’t be cheap, retailing for $599.99 when it hits stores in September.
