We’ve said it once, we’ll say it again: everything is better with magnets. Apparently, the same holds true even with the traditional clothes hanger and the Cliq, a hanger that trades in hooks for magnets, proves it.
Made by Flow Design, the hangers feature a minimalist design that eliminates the bottom of the frame, so you can use it to hang suits and shirts, but not ties and towels like you do with your regular-shaped ManHangers. Because it ditches the hook, it’s able to maximize the height of the closet, allowing you to hang longer pieces of clothing more conveniently.
Since it uses magnets situated at the top, the Cliq requires metallic surfaces to stick on, rather than a rod to hook onto.  To use it, you can replace your existing wooden tubes with metal bars, as well as install metal plates to the inner top panel of the closet. If your closet is made from metal to begin with, all the better — just stick it up the metal panels and you’re done.  Construction is wood for the hangers, with each one able to hold up items weighing up to 4.4 pounds, allowing it to accommodate a suit and a shirt (even a heftier pinstripe hoodie) at the same time.
Of course, you can always just take off the hook on your existing hangers, Sugru a magnet onto it, and you’ve got the same thing. Granted, it will probably be ugly as heck, but it might prove a bit cheaper than the Cliq’s €149 asking price for a pack of three. It’s available now.
