Every well-loved cat deserves their own place to catch a nap. Problem is, even the best-designed cat beds can still leave your living room looking cluttered and unsightly.  If you’ve been looking for a cat bed that’s more out of the way, you might want to try the Cat Crib, a mini-hammock that installs under a chair.
Designed for use on chairs with four legs and a generous helping of space under the seat, you just tie the hammock’s four straps around the legs, using them as posts. The taller the legs, the better, of course — if that kitty in the picture had claustrophobia, for instance, he’d be freaking out like crazy before that product shot was ever snapped. We’re guessing this could fit in smaller side tables, too, provided it has four legs that you can tie the straps onto.
The actual bed on the Cat Crib measures around 27 inches on all sides, so it should suffice for most normal-sized felines. If you have one of those overfed extra-large breeds, though, you might want to consider separate accommodations (you want a big cat, you buy a big cat bed). Bonus benefit if your cat ends up really taking to his new hanging bed: most of the furry mess in the house will end up either in the hammock or on the floor under the chair, so you can have an easier time keeping everything tidy.
We’re not sure what fabric is used, but it looks stretchy and comfortable. The product website says it’s washing-machine safe, too, so there’s zero hassle in cleaning it.
The Cat Crib is scheduled to ship during the end of the summer. You can reserve one now for $29.
