Bro, we know you enjoy listening to music. And we know you like throwing footballs. So, bro, we’re guessing that’s why someone made the BRO Ball, a Bluetooth speaker that also happens to be a playable football. Seriously.
Made by Invincible Audio, it can play your music wirelessly much like any Bluetooth speaker. Unlike them, you can also throw it like a regular football (the American kind, not the other one), so you can play catch, tag, or whatever other game with friends while enjoying the soothing sounds of All About That Bass.
While it does pack electronics unlike regular footballs, the BRO Ball boasts an evenly-distributed weight, so you can perform spiral throws without having to make a lot of adjustments. It’s highly-durable, too, so it can survive the kind of high-velocity impacts footballs tend to experience throughout their usable lifespans. Want to use it at the beach? Not a problem, as the ball is designed to float in water and can be fully submerged up to 30 minutes at a time without affecting its function, all while being resistant to both sand and dirt.
Since footballs get thrown quite far, it comes with a Bluetooth range of 150 feet, ensuring it can remain paired to your phone even after traveling a good amount of distance. It even comes with a USB port for charging mobile devices, as well as glow-in-the-dark outlining, so you can still see the ball even when the party continues well into the night.
A Kickstarter campaign is currently running for BRO Ball. Pledges to reserve a unit starts at $59.
