Over the last few years, we’ve increasingly seen new tabletop ovens that let you bake crispy pizzas at home. Problem is, the good ones are usually relegated to outdoor use, requiring you to have a backyard in order to crank legit Neapolitan-style pies. The Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo changes that.

A countertop oven, the appliance lets you make those crispy Neapolitan-style pizzas from the comfort of an indoor kitchen. No need to restrict your pizza-making in the backyard, the balcony, or the patio – this thing lets you crank out delicious pies even from the kitchen of your tiny apartment in the city.

The Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo is an unusual-looking countertop oven, as it’s both shorter and wider than traditional rigs. At 10.75 x 18.5 x 18.5 inches (height x width x depth), it has a profile that’s strictly designed for accommodating pizzas, so you can’t quite use it as a replacement for a regular countertop oven, which can hold whole chickens, large cakes, and big chunks of meat. While pizzas are the only things it can make, it does get versatile on that front, as it’s able to cook everything from wood-fire Neapolitan-style pies and Chicago-style pan pizza to New York-style pies and those thin-and-crispy joints that some people just love. That’s right, they even have individual heat settings for each one, complete with five different settings for just how charred you want the crust to get.

Why does it cook pizza better than standard home ovens? According to Breville, that’s because it’s the first domestic countertop oven that’s able to replicate the heat performance of brick ovens, which harnesses all three heat types (convective, conductive, and radiant) to produce those delicious pizzas with crispy crusts, well-cooked toppings, and perfectly melted cheese on top. Seriously, the outfit claims it can simulate the exact cooking action that happens inside a traditional oven that’s powered by wood burning inside it, all while being plugged to a wall outlet in the kitchen.

The Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo can reach temperatures of up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit, all while accommodating pies up to 12 inches in diameter. It utilizes the outfit’s Element IQ system, which adjusts heat on the fly to ensure it maintains the desired interior temperatures throughout the whole session, depending on what kind of pizza you’re baking. Two sensors inside the oven keep track of the prevailing convective, conductive, and radiant heat at any time, prompting the system to automatically make adjustments as it deems fit.

Each pizza oven comes with a removable pizza stone, a stainless steel pizza peel, and a carbon-steel pizza pan with a detachable handle, so you have every tool you need at your disposal to cook whatever style of pie you’re looking to make. Now, if you can only find a local place that makes good dough (so you can save yourself the hassle), life will be complete. Well, it won’t, but you’ll, at least, be able to have good pizza in a convenient manner every day of the week.

The Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo is available now, priced at $799.95.
