How do you feel about seeing big, fat snails crawling up your wall? Yeah, probably not good. How about if the snails were fake, look quite decorative, and can also serve as a coat hook? We’re good now? Well, that’s exactly what the Snail Hook is all about.
Made by IHANNA, it’s a snail made with concrete, whose long neck and head can be used to hang jackets, hats, and whatever else you usually throw into the coat rack. That way, you don’t have to be stuck with a boring hook when the darn thing’s unused, making it appear like you have a snail infestation instead. We’re not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but we’ll let you decide.
While the Snail Hook is designed to screw into a wall for permanent mounting, it can also serve as a cute table and shelf display, in case the idea of seeing slugs with shells (even if they’re fake) crawling up your wall is a little too unsavory for your tastes.  It measures 4.3 x 2.4 x 2.4 inches and comes in two colors, gray and dark gray. Since it’s made from concrete, the hooks will be tough, ready to hold heavy items of clothing and jewelry. Oh yeah, it should make for a nice paperweight, too, so you can keep it as a pet rock at work for whatever good tidings a big, fat snail may bring your way.
Available now, the Snail Hook is priced at $35.40.
