Sure, you can spiff up your lawn with Santa Claus and reindeers to give it a festive Christmas spirit. But if you’re not really keen on having the same holiday decorations as every other house in the neighborhood, you’ll need something else.  This 15-Foot Inflatable Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster sure looks like it can do the trick.
Based on the character from the 1964 animated TV show, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, it’s a gigantic abominable snowman designed to stand guard in front of your house, protecting it from dark-hearted elves who want to steal the gifts under your Christmas tree. Don’t worry, he won’t be stomping on old ladies and scaring kids like ordinary abominable monsters would – if you saw that classic show, you’d know he’s a reformed beast who’s now harmless and very friendly.
The 15-Foot Inflatable Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster will make for a massive presence in your lawn, with its 9-foot wide and 4.75-foot thick frame. Like in the TV classic, he comes bearing a frostbitten blue face, with a fur-covered polyester hide that’s as white as snow. Five internal light bulbs allow Bumble to stay visible at night, with ropes and stakes keeping the monster tethered to the ground to keep him from running amok (he’s new to the city, you never know what will freak him out) and stomping on your neighbor’s light-covered Christmas Truck. Set includes an electric blower that will fully inflate the giant snowman in 15 minutes.
Available from Hammacher Schlemmer, the 15-Foot Inflatable Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster retails for $399.95.
