During use, the Bübi Bottle looks like a normal plastic water container. Once emptied out, though, you can roll it into a small bundle that you can squeeze into a jeans or shirt pocket, so you’re not stuck having to walk around with a bulky container in tow.
While we’ve seen similar creations before (most notably, the Vapur), this new one does it while looking like a real bottle instead of a tetra-pak. It should hold like a real bottle, too, making it more comfortable to use while taking a refreshing sip during your morning run.
Billed as the “world’s first scrunchable” (yep, it’s supposed to be a word) water bottle, the Bübi Bottle balloons into a regular-looking container measuring 9.5 x 2.75 inches during use. It can hold up to 22 ounces of water, all while playing nice with both microwaves and freezers (yep, you can use it as either a hot or cold compress). When rolled and hooked onto the attached ring, it weighs a light 5.5 ounces.
If you’ve ever steered clear of those foldable bottles because they weren’t… uhm… bottles, you just ran out of excuses. The Bübi Bottle is available directly from the official website, priced at $30.
