The Plasma Cutter is easily the most versatile weapon in Dead Space 2, quickly severing enemy limbs at just one pull of the trigger. While this 211-V Plasma Cutter Replica doesn’t quite hurt real Necromorphs as it does in the game, it’s still the perfect prop to hang on your neck while masquerading around as a post-apocalyptic badass.
Styled to look and feel exactly like Isaac Clarke’s weapon of choice, the replica comes with three real bright green lasers that create the signature three-blast spot when you pull the trigger. That way, you can hit parking lots at night and pretend you’re destroying cars with your laser pistol. Make sure to create lots of noise while you’re at it, too — that sounds more realistic.
The Dead Space 2 Plasma Cutter Replica measures 17 x 11 x 3 inches (l x w x h) and weighs approximately 3 lbs. Construction is primarily metal, although it does have plastic parts to accommodate the wiring.  Since there’s really no reason for you to haul a large fake laser gun around, they threw in a mini-mag LED flashlight that you can attach onto the frame. That way, you can tell the wife you’re using the flashlight when taking it out to the garage, the backyard and to church on Sundays (you never know when the car might break down).
Like the in-game weapon, the replica can be configured to shoot the lasers in both horizontal and vertical modes. A heavy-duty metal carrying case is included, which you can use both for storage and display.
Two AA batteries are required to make the three-blast spot light up, with an additional two required for the mini-mag flashlight.  The Dead Space 2 Plasma Cutter Replica is available from Thinkgeek, priced at $239.99.
