Kick scooters are fun. A kick scooter that lets you vandalize the ground your ride on is a whole lot more fun. That’s exactly what you get with the Razor Graffiti Chalk Scooter, which lets you paint a rainbow of colorful lines while you glide along your favorite streets.
The ground-drawn colorful lines come courtesy of a chalk scribbler add-on installed on the back of the two-wheeled ride. Arm it with chalks of your favorite color (heck, try putting in permanent Sharpies in there to make it more interesting) and you can lay color to the road by stepping on the rear-mounted pedal. That way, you can leave visual cues to the paths you’ve traveled — useful when you’re new in town and don’t exactly know directions yet (at least, that’s the excuse you’ll give when somebody reprimands you for putting snaking color marks on the ground).
The rest of the Razor Graffiti Chalk Scooter is just like most regular kick scooters. Tube and deck are made from sturdy aircraft-grade aluminum, with 98mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings and a rear fender brake that sits in front of the chalk-holding setup. Of course, the tube can fold onto the deck for easy transport.
You can load the scribbler with up to three chalks at a time (the deck comes with six). Do note that this is a children’s scooter, so maximum weight capacity is limited to 143 lbs.
Ride a scooter, make a mess — that will be your (or your kid’s) new motto with the Razor Graffiti Chalk Scooter. Â Its now available online from various retailers including toysrus and Brookstone .
