Designed for handymen who need their nuts (and bolts) close at hand, the MagnoGrip is a wrist band that lets you slap a bunch of knick-knacks to take with you at all times. Nails, screws, bolts and various other small metallic items attach to it like Post-It to a wall, eliminating the need to carry an extra box (or worse, holding nails with your mouth) when performing regular home improvement duties.
Small tools and items are the toughest to keep track of because of their size. As such, it isn’t unusual to drop them, misplace them or just otherwise lose them during the course of any small construction or repair work. With this in tow, you can keep all those little tools and supplies secure, apart from being within easy reach at all times.
The MagnoGrip is a free-size wrist band measuring 14 x 3.5 inches (length x width). It can go on all wrists with a circumference of 12 inches and below, so unless you’re Incredible Hulk, this will probably fit. Three powerful magnets line the inside of the sleeve, with the actual band made from scratch-resistant ballistic polyester outside and smooth felt on the other side. Despite weighing a lightweight 1.8 ounces, it can hold a considerable 1lb worth of parts and tools.
Obviously, the band should serve handymen, mechanics and craft enthusiasts well. It should be a good utilitarian accessory too, in case you frequently lose stuff in your wallet like small chains and keys. Of course, wearing one while walking down the street probably looks worse than being born with Lady Gaga’s original nose, but you just might pull it off. Okay, maybe not.
Available in red and pink, the MagnoGrip costs an affordable $11.
