You’re a star. Hell, you’re a superstar. And no better way to celebrate your megalomaniac delusions than to put a spotlight right in your living space with this 1940s Hollywood Studio Lamp.
Created by Restoration Hardware, the lighting furniture borrows its looks and styling from a 1940s Fresnel studio lamp — those classic staples found in every major film studio from the olden days.  Build and appearance have been fashioned to be as exacting as the original, complete with full maneuverability for the actual lighting’s cast aluminum housing.
The 1940s Hollywood Studio Floor Lamp is a replica lighting equipment made from solid cast aluminum and steel, with a polished aluminum and powdercoat finish. Each of the tripod legs has aluminum casters for mobility, with a manually adjustable stand that can take the height anywhere from 47 to 67 inches. In case a spotlight sounds too much illumination for any part of the house, don’t worry — the fixture can take normal bulbs under the ribbed glass cover, too.
Whether for the living room, the bedroom or that dingy room over the garage of your parents’ house you call home, the lamp looks like it can make an excellent addition to any décor. And if your living arrangements fall under that last one, it just might be the most expensive piece in your pad, too, priced at a rich $1,850.
