You love those Sausage Egg McMuffins from that store with the clown. Except the last thing you want to do as soon as you wake up in the morning is drive down to McDonalds. With the Back to Basics TEM4500, you can make the same crappy sandwich all on your own.
No, it’s not magic. You’ll still have to put the bread on the toaster and crack eggs and cook the patty. Except with this appliance, you do all of that on just one machine, so you don’t even need to bust out the frying pan.
The Back to Basics TEM4500 is a four-slice toaster that can put a charring on your breads, English muffins, bagels and croissants just like that appliance that makes your toast strips every morning. It doesn’t stop there, though. Integrated to one side are two meat-cooking trays, sized just enough to fit one egg or one round pre-cooked meat (ham, bacon, sausage) each. Both the bread and the meat can be cooked at the same time, with the toaster automatically setting to warm while it waits for the heating trays to finish.
You’ll have to set what you are cooking (or heating/defrosting) from the dual-control panel, so the contraption knows exactly how much time to apportion for each session. Aside from eggs and meat, the side trays can also be used to heat tomato slices, onion rings or pineapple chunks if you’d like them with your bread.
Seriously, I can’t imagine a simpler way to make hot sandwiches than with the Back to Basics TEM4500. You can get it from Amazon for just under $60.
