Starbucks is a literal cash trap, making you wait in line for your coffee just long enough so you can admire and impulsively pick up one of the numerous products they have prominently displayed on the shelves. The next time I’m in, I’ll probably be tempted to buy one of these Stainless Steel Chiseled Tumblers and I can’t help but give in to the urges.
A part of Starbucks’ new Cold-to-Go Chiseled Collection, the drinking vessel embraces the classic Cold Cup shape but dresses it up with a body that’s cut with sharp and defined angles, making it easier to hold and a peach to look at. Definitely a step up in aesthetics compared to the Carabiner Mug you like to take when you buy your “extra hot non-fat split quad shot latte with whip” or whatever other mouthful of words you prefer to order.
The Starbucks Stainless Steel Chiseled Tumbler is a 16 oz travel cup with a body constructed from stainless steel, so it’s tough enough to survive your perilous treks to and from the office. It’s double-walled for insulation, so your hands don’t get clammy while holding it and your icy drink stays colder for longer. The tumbler comes topped with a blue lid (that also appears to be stainless steel, but that could be wrong) and a reusable green acrylic straw. Oh yeah, don’t even think about popping this thing in the microwave — not gonna work well for you.
You should be able to pick up one of these Stainless Steel Chiseled Tumblers from your nearest Starbucks. If you’d rather stay in, though, you can also score it online from their web store. Price is $19.95.
