Razor may be best known for their kick scooters, but they also make a good load of sweet ride-on carts. And when it comes to ride-ons, I can’t think of anything more awesome than the Razor Crazy Cart, which brings some killer riding moves we never thought we’d see on a children’s toy.
Billed as “the ultimate drifting machine,” the play vehicle can overturn its large front wheel a full 360 degrees, so your tyke can drift around the park pretending to be a little Ken Block. That drifting action is backed up by some good speed (up to 12 mph), too, so it can make for exciting kiddie motorsport action. Seriously, the drifting action is so good the whole thing looks like a live action Mario Kart.
The Razor Crazy Cart measures 35.8 x 25.2 x 18.9 inches, so don’t even bother planning to fit your 250-pound grown man body into it no matter how fun it looks (max weight is 140 pounds). It comes with two drive modes: go-cart, for regular ride-on operation, and crazy cart, for the wild tire-scorching action. Fitted with a “revolutionary drive system,” it can drive forward, backwards, sideways, diagonally, and even spin in place for clearing those extremely tight turns. Features include a drift bar for controlling back-end drifts, variable speed foot pedal acceleration, and a 24-volt battery system good for up to 40 minutes of continuous driving.
Like real race cars, though, the Razor Crazy Cart is crazy expensive for a children’s toy. It’s available exclusively at Toys R Us for now, priced at $399.99.
