No, you don’t need another bottle opener. Unless, of course, that bottle opener won’t just crack open your beers, but also decaptitate your peanut butter jar, ketchup bottle, and a whole lot more. That’s exactly what you get with the Bob Multi-Opener.
Designed by Nicholai Wiig-Hansen, it’s a multi-purpose kitchen opener that you can use to tackle bottle caps, screw tops, ring pulls, and vacuumed lids. Granted, using a tool to take the ring pull off drink cans and canned food items is probably unnecessary, but this thing should make opening all the other ones just a whole lot easier.
The Bob Multi-Opener has a ring on the head that’s sized to wrap snugly onto the twist-cap on your juice, ketchup, and seasoning bottles. Claws on the side of the ring should come in handy for prying bottle caps and ring pulls, as well as loosening vacuumed lids, so you can open jars and larger bottles with just one twist. It comes with three large holes on the body, which, we guess, will come in handy when using your fingers to generate extra leverage, while a hardened aluminum construction ensures this tool can last you for a very long time. It measures 6 x 3 x 1 inches (h x w x d).
Available from the MOMA Store, the Bob Multi-Opener is priced at $25.
